DESCRIPTION
As the moon does not have a distinct smell due to the lack of atmosphere and organic compounds, it is difficult to create a candle based on its scent.
However, inspired by the moon's appearance and characteristics, a futuristic scent could be created with the following scent notes:
Top notes:
Bergamot, lemon, and grapefruit, to represent the brightness and shine of the moon.
Middle notes: Lavender, jasmine, and patchouli, to evoke the moon's tranquility and calmness.
Base notes: Sandalwood, musk, and eucalyptus, to symbolize the moon's mystery and allure. The resulting scent would be a fresh, clean, and slightly floral fragrance with a hint of warmth and earthiness, representing the moon's qualities of brightness, tranquility, and mystery.
6oz
Approximately 98% essential oils and 2% Fine fragrance.
Burn time approximately 20+ hrs
The candle is dusted with pyrite and has pockets of indented wax for a crater look that resembles the MOON.
HOW THIS CAME ABOUT.
Looking at icebergs at MOOD & COAST from 120 feet up on a cliff is a truly awe-inspiring experience. The view from this height gives a sense of scale and perspective that is difficult to achieve from ground level. As I looked out at the frozen landscape, I felt a sense of wonder and amazement at the natural beauty around me.
The icebergs themselves were stunning. They were a crisp, bright white against the blue of the lake, and they looked almost otherworldly in their appearance. They were jagged and uneven, with sharp peaks and valleys that made them resemble the craggy terrain of a distant planet.
From this vantage point, it was easy to imagine what it might be like to stand on the surface of the moon. The icebergs looked like lunar mountains, and the surrounding landscape was a desolate yet beautiful expanse that seemed almost alien in its appearance.
Overall, the feeling of looking at icebergs from 120 feet up on a cliff is one of awe and wonder. It's a humbling experience to be confronted with such natural beauty, and it's easy to see how it could inspire someone to create a scent that captures the otherworldly feeling of being on the moon.
